The Details

Tasting Note A fruit driven wine with a history firmly planted in Spain and a new found home in Australia. Only a touch of oak that results in a savoury wine with floral aromas and mouthwatering, rustic tannins.
Best Enjoyed With Enjoy with chorizo and roast capsicum pizza or garlic and chilli mushrooms on vegan puff pastry.
Treatment Fermentation with yeasts indigenous to the vineyards was followed by malolactic fermentation and maturation in new and mature Hungarian oak barrels. Our aim has been to showcase the stylish fruit flavours and lovely tannins of Tempranillo complimented by very subtle oak.

One glass wasn’t enough
The Running With Bulls wines are always around the mark and this is another good drink. Red berried fruit flavours with some darker tones blend nicely with woodsy spice and florals. It’s medium in weight but it feels well-rounded and while I wouldn’t call it creamy there’s a pleasing softness to the texture. One glass wasn’t enough, let’s just say.

Super smooth and super tasty
Smashable deluxe, this Barossa Tempranillo nails the price point. This is the red you want to hunt down when seeking an easy-drinking yet incredibly tasty red. Find this. Super smooth and super tasty with an easy-going persona, it's all charcuterie, pan juices, dark cherries and chocolate. Its pretty blue and purple flower perfume keeps you coming back for more. The bottle will be drained in quick time. Give it a slight chill in warmer months to further enhance its versatility but pizza, pasta and burger night are bursting at the seams to sit beside this.

Great generosity of supple fruit flavours
Mid-crimson in colour and showing the fun side of Tempranillo with its punchy, user-friendly dark berry fruit aromas with leather and spice sitting well in the background. Great generosity of supple fruit flavours follows with a little touch of tobacco before chewy tannins arrive to support quite a decent finish. Now–2024.

Consistently one of my favorite
Consistently one of my favorite value for money red wines. It really captures so much about the engaging drinking qualities of this variety with a spicy cola character on the nose merging into the black fruits, while the palate delivers with a plush mix of dark chocolate and wild berry. It’s also soft and velvety with a smooth succulent mouth feel.
