The Details

Tasting Note Vibrant ruby red in colour with crimson and magenta hues. Aromas of dark berry and plum dominate, with spicy mocha, liquorice, vanilla and pepper. A voluptuous wine on the palate, with a soft round flourish of dark fruit. The aromas are mirrored on the palate with dark chocolate undertones.
Best Enjoyed With Enjoy with spare ribs, hamburgers or balsamic grilled eggplant.
Treatment The Shiraz grapes for Grower Gatherer are carefully destemmed and crushed into fermenters, where they are gently macerated. Cool fermentation temperatures enhance the rich and generous fruit flavours and soft tannins enjoyed in this wine. French, Hungarian and American oaks add depth and richness to the wine.

An easy, approachable barbecue wine
By Earthworks, this is an easy, approachable barbecue wine that is readily available. Spicy, black pepper and Szechuan spices drive through rolling over the top of red fruits and plums. Dark chocolate is shouldered aside leaving a trail of dusty tannins. Burger night will do just fine.

A ripping good palate
Vibrant and juicy Barossa shiraz delivering a ripping good palate. It’s soft and supple with a grainy thread supplementing the gentle tannins. It’s also spicy with a mix of chocolate and mocha complementing the dark fruits and subtle oak influence.
