The Details

Tasting Note Green and vibrant in appearance. Zesty lemon and grapefruit aromas with a hint of dried green herb, overlaid with subtle toast and spice from extended time in bottle. The palate is lively and generous with lemon meringue, stewed Royal Gala apple flavours, hints of minerality, sage oil and sea spray, finishing with refreshing acidity. As is the case with all great Eden Valley Rieslings, mesh will continue to age gracefully and reliably into a mature wine under the Stelvin closure.
Best Enjoyed With Perfect with a wide variety of food, enjoy with natural oysters, or a fresh rocket and pomegranate salad.

Accolades

Great vitality and length of flavour
I'm a big fan of these cellar releases. Just smell that! Still a youthful pale straw, but it has taken on those sexy, toasty aromas that we love from aged riesling with a bit of age under its belt. Bickford's lime cordial and Christmas lily notes at its base; crushed quartz and almond blossom too with dots of dried hay and light mountain herbs adding complexity. Savoury, dry and mineral-laden with great vitality and length of flavour. Great drinking.
