The Details

Tasting Note Vibrant pink in colour. A very aromatic rosé showing blood orange, sweet spice, biscuit pastry, rose petal, strawberries and cream with a touch of tarragon. The palate is bright, silky and textured with flavours of early season strawberries and white peach that leads to a moreish finish.
Best Enjoyed With Enjoy on a warm summer day with fresh seafood or tomato and basil bruschetta drizzled with extra virgin olive oil.
Treatment The grapes are sourced from Grenache vines and bush vines planted across the Barossa Valley. Grapes are harvested into small bins, then crushed and held in the press for one to two hours to extract colour and flavour. The grapes are pressed directly to barrel and fermented with wild yeasts from the vineyard. After fermentation the wine was matured on lees for four months with weekly bâttonage to build texture and complexity.

Textural delight
These Rogers & Rufus Rosés hit the mark every time. The essence of a solid and reliable Rosé, just over 50% of the blend sees seasoned French oak for four months, adding a gentle textural presence and a subtle milk bottle lolly creaminess. Red apples, white cherries, raspberries and scents of red petals fill the flavour and aroma profile. Softly spiced with a lick of dried herbs, there is a fabulous tonic-like drive delivering the textural delight. A wine that reaches well into a persistent finish, there is a red apple crunch to close to seal the deal. Great stuff and an easy go-to, particularly as it is readily available.

Charming, pure and pleasing
Juicy, bright and energetic rosé in a pale, dry style. Not unpleasant, good refreshment factor with some chalky edges on cranberry drink with touches of pomegranate and raspberry. A dose of spice here too. Feels easy to drink, charming, pure and pleasing. Go forth.

Dry, crisp and refreshing
Very pale salmon colour. Turkish Delight, peach slices, raspberry jelly crystals, pink grapefruit, cranberry, orange blossom, pomegranate, cut flowers and a little pencilly graphite. Carrying a little more depth and presence than many others in the style. Dry, crisp and refreshing with a welcome persistence of flavour, punctuated with a touch of piquant white pepper spice.
