Accolades

A super fine spritz for the win
A new addition to the Pewsey Vale range, this Lighter Riesling was picked early to tap into the lighter alcohol market. It's a clever wine too. Super refreshing, this is lighter in the mouth and not just lighter in alcohol (9%). Lime juice and lime leaf are partnered by green apples and a super crisp acidity. Medium dry, there is a super fine spritz for the win. Screaming for a barbecue lunch or lazing under big shady trees, it's a fabulous debut. Drink now.

Tasty stuff
With the low and no alcohol movement gaining plenty of momentum, this Pewsey Vale Lighter Riesling fits the brief wonderfully coming in at 9%. The tang and refreshment factor is immense. Bursting with fresh lemons and lemon cordial, white floral aromas add prettiness. The energy is electrifying and it's hard to miss. Some lime pith cuts in late on a clean and zesty finish highlighted by sizzling acidity. Warm days by the beach are on the menu. Tasty stuff. Drink now.

Fresh and bright
Very light colour with a lifted floral aroma, fresh and bright, the taste is light-bodied and fresh with a notable touch of sweetness that is beautifully balanced with the lightness of the fruit and alcohol weight. The texture has spring-water lightness. This should introduce new drinkers to the joys of riesling. The finish is clean and what it lacks in length it has in charm.

Clean and moreish
It's a smart move, releasing a lighter style, low alcohol riesling. There's certainly a market for such a wine. It teeters just on the off-dry side of the RS ridgeline, showing bright characters of lemon, peach and grapefruit along with some green apple tones and hints of makrut lime, stone and citrus zest. Nice tangy grapefruit acidity on the finish, too, which is clean and moreish
