Yalumba

Yalumba is Australia’s oldest family-owned winery, a sixth-generation custodian of the Barossa Valley since 1849. Jansz Tasmania is one of the very few producers devoted solely to sparkling winemaking, crafting wine in the region since 1986. Nature does the work here, with minimal intervention. Dalrymple Vineyards

Dalrymple Vineyards was established in 1987 by Bertel and Anne Sundstrup, high on the sloping hills of Pipers River in Tasmania’s rugged northeast, overlooking the wild waters of Bass Strait. Guided by a relentless pursuit of perfection and a spirit of adventure, Dalrymple crafts some of the finest Tasmanian wines around, led by a celebrated Tasmanian Pinot Noir and the best Chardonnay wine grown on single-site fruit. Oxford Landing

Born on the sunburnt banks of the Murray River in 1958, Oxford Landing is where Wyndham Hill-Smith first discovered a place worth preserving. Today, the sixth generation of the Hill-Smith family tends the same land with the same devotion, sourcing only from estate and family-owned vineyards across the Riverland. Community sits at the heart of everything, from a hands-off approach in the vineyard to genuine environmental care, including a programme that plants native bushland with every six-pack sold. Pewsey Vale Vineyard

Riesling is Pewsey Vale Vineyard’s single focus and has been since Joseph Gilbert first planted vines on this Eden Valley hillside in 1847, winning an award for his Riesling just seven years later. Nothing else is made here, so undivided attention goes into one thing alone: the best Riesling, year on year. The high altitude, cool climate and softly undulating hills of Eden Valley do most of the work, with minimal human intervention needed. Over 170 years of tradition sit in every glass. Heggies Vineyard

There’s no place like Heggies. Perched some 500 metres above sea level in the rugged high country of Eden Valley, the Heggies story began in 1972 when local character Colin Heggie sold his prime cool-climate plot to his good mate Wyndham Hill-Smith. The first vines went in the following year, and over fifty years on, Chardonnay and Riesling remain the singular focus. Cool, slow-ripening seasons and unique soils produce wines that are balanced, refined and full of character. Planted, grown and crafted by Chardonnay lovers, for Chardonnay lovers.

Winesmiths

Winesmiths believes exceptional wine belongs in everyday moments, not just special occasions. Crafting single vintage, single varietal wines since 1984, the label’s innovative wine-on-tap pack keeps every drop fresh for up to six weeks, ready for spontaneous picnics, dinner parties or a quiet night in. The eco-friendly packaging cuts greenhouse gas emissions by 62 per cent compared to glass, so the planet benefits as much as the palate. Winesmiths is about conversations, laughter and shared moments that fit perfectly in the fridge or the esky.

Running with Bulls

Leave the sheep and run with the bulls. That was the driving philosophy when the Hill-Smith family created Running with Bulls, introducing the Spanish variety Tempranillo to the Barossa in 2008, followed by Garnacha and a champion run of chilled reds. Born from a different attitude and a different approach, Running with Bulls challenged the status quo and made something not only new, but brilliant. Confident, passionate and thoroughly convivial, this is a label for anyone ready to break from routine. For that unapologetic spirit, Running with Bulls says it plainly: buck tradition.

Smith & Hooper

Smith & Hooper takes its name from two friends who set out looking for a quiet hillside to graze cattle, far from Adelaide’s hustle, and inadvertently stumbled across one of South Australia’s finest wine-growing regions instead. That region was Wrattonbully, where terra rossa soil and a maritime climate a touch warmer than neighbouring Coonawarra now produce fruit of real depth. Winemaker Heather Fraser and vigneron James Freckleton continue the adventure today, predominantly through Merlot, alongside other varieties tried and tested across the vineyard’s undulating landscape.

earthworks

Great wine starts with great soil, and great soil starts with those who know how to work it. earthworks was formed when a group of local Barossa families brought their grapes and more than 230 years of combined winegrowing expertise together under one label. These sixth-generation Barossans know when to step back and let the earth do its work, watching over the bigger picture on sustainability. The result is a collective built on generational stewardship and community, producing wine that is better for the drinker and the planet alike.

La Maschera

La Maschera takes its name and its spirit from the Carnival of Venice, a centuries-old celebration where San Marco Square fills with feasting, dancing and elaborate, exotic masks. In that same playful tradition, La Maschera showcases alternative Italian varietals grown across South Australia’s premier wine regions, led by a fresh, aromatic Pinot Grigio and a lively Prosecco built for easy drinking. Rogers & Rufus

Rogers & Rufus began in 2007, when Australian winemaker Rogers Hill-Smith and British entrepreneur Rufus Clevely realised their ice buckets were missing one vital summer ingredient: a cold, crisp, pale rosé. Made from 100 per cent dry-grown Bush Vine Grenache sourced from select Barossa blocks, the result is a bone-dry, savoury rosé of real texture and delicacy, lightheartedly nicknamed 'lunch water' by those in the know. It suits a long lunch, an afternoon by the pool, or simply itself. Now well into its second decade, Rogers & Rufus remains a genuinely un-Australian rosé.

mesh

mesh is the result of a genuine collaboration between two passionate Eden Valley vignerons, brought together by a shared belief that great Riesling deserves an unhurried, hands-off approach. Sourced from cool-climate, high-altitude fruit, mesh wines lean into the natural acidity and precision that Eden Valley is known for, letting the site express itself rather than chasing trends or techniques. The result is a Riesling of real clarity, built for long-term ageing as much as immediate enjoyment. A small, focused label with real respect for where its grapes are grown.

Ringbolt

Born from the Wilyabrup sub-region, Ringbolt is a celebration of the deep connection between land, climate and the maritime influence that defines this remarkable pocket of Western Australia. The signature Cabernet Sauvignon debuted in 2001 and has since earned national and international acclaim, including Top Gold at the 2025 Royal Adelaide Wine Show, while a 2023 addition of Chardonnay from Gingin and Dijon Clone 95 fruit showcases the region’s elegance. Winemaker Heather Fraser crafts every bottle to capture both vintage character and a true sense of place.

Parish Vineyards

Twin Islands

Twin Islands does one thing and does it well. With no compromises or distractions, every ounce of winemaking knowledge goes into crafting a single Sauvignon Blanc, consistently good year on year, grown and made exclusively in Marlborough, New Zealand. It has been the label’s pride and joy since 1992, built on a straightforward belief that focus produces better wine than variety for its own sake. Nautilus Estate

Founded in Marlborough in 1985 and still proudly family-owned, Nautilus Estate takes its name from the nautilus shell, a natural symbol of balance and mathematical precision the label strives to express in every wine. Owner Robert Hill Smith is a fifth-generation vigneron, and that experience shows in a deliberately small, hands-on approach led by winemaker Clive Jones. Opawa takes its name from the Opawa, or Ōpaoa, River, whose stony soils shape the aromas and flavours found in every bottle. Crafted with minimal intervention, Opawa wines let Marlborough’s fruit speak for itself, with little standing between vine and glass. The Opawa River is also home to various endangered and endemic New Zealand birdlife, and the label carries a genuine commitment to preserving this wetland ecosystem alongside the wine it produces.
