Recently our Vigneron Jennifer Doyle had a visit from Holly Bowden from Left off the Map to talk about the complexity of producing our sparkling wines at Jansz Tasmania, what makes our site special and of course to taste some fizz!

It’s no secret that we live and breathe Tasmania. From breathtaking landscapes and tranquil waters, to the beautiful communities of people that call our island state home. One of the things we are continually in awe of is the talent of our local creators.

The north east corner of Tasmania has so much to offer. Not only is it the home to our Jansz Tasmania vineyard, it is also home to world-famous golf courses, picturesque waterfalls, fields of lavender and mountain bike trails that are sure to get your heart pumping.

The 2021 growing season was strongly influenced by the La Nina weather pattern, which in general produces cooler and slightly more humid conditions in Tasmania.
