The Details

Tasting Note The wine has a lovely coral pink colour. The aromas of fresh raspberry, strawberry sorbet, sea spray and pink peppercorn leap from the glass. The palate is bright, silky and zesty with watermelon and pink grapefruit flavours with a moreish mineral finish.
Best Enjoyed With Enjoy on a warm summer day with fresh seafood or a tomato and basil bruschetta drizzled with extra virgin olive oil.
Treatment The grapes are pressed directly to barrel and fermented with wild yeasts from the vineyard. After fermentation the wine is matured on lees for six months with fortnightly bâttonage to build texture and complexity.

Accolades

Fresh and easy
This shows notes of cherries and cranberries with grapefruit peel and dried rose hips. Medium-bodied, juicy and vivid with creamy texture and an attractive floral character at the end. Fresh and easy. Drink now. Screw cap.

A riot of red fruit and berries
Smashable summer time get up. Bone dry and delicious deluxe, make the most of these warm days with this splash of good times in your glass. A riot of red fruit and berries, Barossa Grenache takes the stage and shows red currants, pomegranates, white cherries and freeze-dried raspberries. The shimmer of creaminess trickles through not to be outdone by the fruit. A flash of musk adds some mouth perfume. Red apples stay the course on a satisfying finish. It's really good drinking. Drink now.

Carrying a little creamy generosity and plenty of flavour
Part of the Hill-Smith Family Vineyards stable. “Un-Australian” in style and 100% Barossa Valley Grenache. Fermentation and 6 months maturation in old Hungarian and French oak hogsheads for depth and complexity. Winemaker is Sam Wigan. Vegan friendly winemaking, if that’s important to you. Pale dusky salmon in hue. Floral, red and crunchy nose. Cranberry, dried rose petals, raspberry jelly crystals, pink grapefruit soda, a little orange creme and the bush vine Grenache throwing a touch of spice (packet taco seasoning mix). Carrying a little creamy generosity and plenty of flavour. Summer red fruits to the fore with a nice drying, bitter herb twist to the finish. Clean and crisp through the tail.
