We all know our La Maschera Prosecco is on your Christmas list, but why not try it in a cocktail. Our Grapefruit Prosecco Fizz will really get the party started this summer!
½ cup of chilled La Maschera Prosecco
¼ cup of grapefruit juice
¼ cup of sugar
¼ cup of water
Bunch of sage leaves
Sliced grapefruit to garnish
Extra sage leaves to garnish
Handful of ice
Combine the sugar, water and the bunch of sage leaves in a heated saucepan. Bring to a boil and stir until sugar is dissolved. Add the grapefruit juice to the mixture and put it in the fridge to cool or the freezer if you need it sooner!
When cooled, pour the grapefruit and sage mixture (through a sifter to remove sage leaves) into your glass, followed by half a cup of La Maschera Prosecco. Add ice and stir to combine.
Garnish with freshly sliced grapefruit and fresh sage leaves.
